Ordering a Pizza from Pizza Hut

Today, I tried to order a pizza from Pizza Hut via their # (022) 39883988 and spoke to a certain female executive. I was asked my phone number and then, my name. I believe the executive wasn’t able to understand the name in the first attempt, for which I repeated it.

Now, without putting the call on MUTE, the executive said something to her male colleage along the lines of (In Hindi) “Naam hi nahin samajh mein aa raha hain, kuch wa wa wa kar ke bol raha hain.” roughly translated to, “I cannot understand his name he’s just talking jibberish.”

Her male colleague then responded  that “Abey mute hi nahin kiya hain tune…” after which she disconnected the call. That roughly translates to, “You dumb, you haven’t muted the call…”

I am not sure, but I assume this is the kind of service I should expect from their call centre every time I say my name.
